Edu Buzzz....

Today the first  session was handled by Benedict sir. He gave us some idea about school induction programme, obeserving lesson plan, microteaching etc. Afterthat he taught us about basic teaching model. Then he introduced a new book "Principles and practice of teaching"  by J.S. Farrant  for us to read.  Then the next class was taken by Deepthi mam.  Thought for the day was taken by sreeja and  seminar presentation by jeena about bhaskaracharya. Mam  taught us about  Blooms Revised taxonomy  After that the class was taken by Ancy mam .She taught us about the physical, social emotional, intellectual development during adolescence period.

 Today was the first assembly at Mar Theophilus training college and our first saree day. Assembly was conducted by M.Ed first years. The assembly was started by  our college anthem followed by prayer, pledge , thought for the day, news reading, MTTC news  and a speech about Dr.S. Radhakrishnan. Then our principal Benedict sir gave a  nice message. Then the assembly ended with the national anthem. After  that we take photographs on our first  saree day.  Then  we have a workshop session by M.Ed seniors. First class was about life skill development by Alka chechi . Then the next session was  about Disaster Management by santy chechi.  Afternoon class was physical education. Sir taught us how to stand in assembly and after that we played cricket and badminton. Then we visited MTTC library.  After that we practiced for our talent hunt. 

 Today the first class was by Gibi Mam. Teacher  taught us about what is psychology? and  different types of psychology. Psychology is the science of behaviour both overt and covert.  Afterthat there was a workshop session  by MEd interns  who came from Govt of teacher education. The program was inaugurated by our principal Benedict sir. Then the first class was taken by Vandana chechi  on  Value Education. " Values are caught rather than thought" . She also taught us about the importance of value education.  She also taught us  the difference between empathy and sympathy.  Then the next class was taken by  Gijitha chechi on the topic Gender Equality. She told us about what is Gender Equality? "Gender equality is providing of equal opportunities to every individual irrespective of gender". After the class they gave an activity to make a poster on  value Education or gender equality.           ...

Today we have a special motivation class on G.V. Hari sir. Joju sir made all the arrangements and gave a nice introduction about  Hari sir. Then sir also gave a nice message  " A man who earns from his hobby is the happiest ". Then Benedict sir gave a nice introduction about Hari sir. Then the class was handled by G.V. Hari sir .It was an amazing class. Sir taught us what are the qualities that a teacher should have and also a few words to seek the attention of students and to make the class more interesting. The words that sir taught are energizers, content, introspection ,allegary , adaptability etc.  I liked this session very much. He also sang songs for us which really made the class more interesting.sir discussed about the qualities of a good teacher and also gave a nice message that  " You listen get knowledge and these two years make you confident, trust and believe in yourself". Afternoon session was handled by joju sir and he told some inspiring stories. Af...

 Today first period was handled by our maths teacher Deepthi mam and she gave a nice introduction  about herself. Then in Maya mam's class many friends told us about the bad experiences they had with the teacher.  Then the class was handled by Gibi mam and  sister sinchu came during that class and she gave a lot of information  from her real life experiences. She told us àbout the old age home she was working ànd also gave a message that we should respect, love and look after our parents.  Then in physical education period we played the game "find out the leader"               Our new Vegetable Garden After that Benedict sir  inaugurated the vegetable garden in our college by giving life to a new plant. Planting a new sapling in our Vegetable garden 

 After the prayer the first class was taken by  Benedict sir and also he gave us an activity to write a letter to our favourite teacher. Then everyone wrote a letter ànd sir collected all the letters. Then the class  was taken by Gibi mam and she  gave an idea on " grab the oppurtunity" by a task. Maya mam told us to share bad experiences we had from any teacher. Joju sir gave us a motivational class.Aftet that we had our lunch.  Then we went to our optional çlassroom and Deepthi mam told us to introduce   ourselves. After that we go to physical education class and also he told us about major and minor games.

 Today   was my first day  at Mar Theophilus Training College.  The  inauguration ceremony was conducted by our seniors and they have done it in a nice manner.  The program was inaugurated by father Thomas  and Benedict sir. Our seniors also   conducted  cultural programs to entertain us and it was vey beautiful. Then we went to our classroom,  met our new friends.  Then seniors came and introduce themselves. And finally our maths tr Deepthi mam came and gave us a introduction.
